Alterations & Extension Granted for a development in Knightsbridge London, in a conservation area under Westminster Council.
MSD secured planning Permission for a substantial second floor extension and the completion of renovations to a historical mews property. The permission was supported by a robust historical report to provide justification of the proposals in this sensitive area, located just off Knightsbridge, London. We worked closely with Westminster Council to address neighbourhood concerns, and to subsequently discharge planning conditions follow approval of the scheme.

A carefully considered scheme to form 9 apartments retaining existing features and extending to form sympathetic alterations to create an attractive scheme in a rural location. The scheme was developed with the support of Tonbridge & Malling borough council.

Full Planning Permission for the conversion of existing agricultural barns within cartilage of a Listed Building ,to a substantial new dwelling. Near Battle East Sussex.
The conversion of the existing agricultural barns was careful considered to create an impressive single dwelling with courtyard gardens and private parking area. The design was supported by heritage statements and detailed planning statement to achieve a significant planning approval in the rural location.

Conversion of stable to Holiday let use in rural countryside location near Battle, East Sussex.
Full planning was granted for holiday let use with associated parking and amenity area. The scheme was support by detailed planning statement and landscaping proposals to mitigate impact on the countryside leading to a successful approval.

Replacement dwelling for a self builder near Horsmonden
Permission was granted for a substantial replacement dwelling in a rural location. The development was support by sustainable enhancements, extensive ecology and biodiversity improvements. The design approach also took advantage of the sloping nature of the site to achieve additional floor space without significant impact on the countryside. Supported also by a comprehensive landscaping scheme of native planting and detailed lighting scheme to reduce light pollution. A successful scheme which as you can see below has already started to be intergrated into the rural landscape.

Permission granted for substantial Alterations & Extension to a listed building near Gouldhurst. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
Listed building consent was granted for a substantial three storey extension to a Grade II listed Building located on the outskirts of Goudhurst. Working closely with Tunbridge Wells conservation officers MSD developed a concept for a large sympathetic extension to create an attractive inner courtyard and addition wing to the original dwelling. A significant planning achievement.

Four New Houses near Hartfield, East Sussex.
MSD achieved planning for four large dwellings in a rural location within the Ashdown Forest , a special protection area. A significant achievement in this rural location.

Two new private dwellings within existing garden. Planning achieved for two new dwellings in Sevenoaks, Kent.
We opted for a two stage strategy to achieve one dwelling initially and then subdivision to two dwellings within the rear garden area of existing dwelling. A great design solution coupled with robust supporting information provided a great result.

Eighteen Private Houses near Sittingbourne Kent
Planning was achieved for 18 new dwellings in Sittingbourne, Kent. The development was located on a complex brownfield site, with significant planning issues to overcome. The site was located near to the railways on two sides and had Hugh level differences with the adjoining highway. MSD engaged a number of consultants to overcome the acoustic challenges and a highway engineer to provide a design to allow access onto the site, with level difference of more than 5m. As you can from the completed scheme the result was a great addition to area, providing valuable family housing units on a redundant brownfield site.

8 New Dwelling in West Malling
MSD adopted a two stage strategy to secure permission for conversion of existing commercial office followed by replacement with new development of eight dwellings.

Justification provided by robust planning statement and supporting information to achieve planning permission for a large outbuilding following enforcement by Local Authority.
Permission granted for Sevenoaks new dwellings in Edenbridge, Sevenoaks, Kent.
This application was on a previously developed brownfield site and involved maximising the site potential to achieve a viable scheme. The development created 7 new dwellings on a complex shaped site, located near to commercial facilities. Various acoustic solutions were investigate to achieve an acceptable solution in agreement with environmental services. The skill of our acoustic consultant provided a robust design to achieve planning permission.

Permission Granted for a New dwelling located in Gravesend, Kent.
Permission was granted on garden land for a new dwelling. A complex site in which to demonstrate sufficient spacial requirements and sufficient amenity and design to avoid overbearing existing development.

Outline permission granted for four town houses in the London Borough of Haringey.
Permission granted on a compact brownfield site in Haringey. Following careful negotiation with the Local Authority planning was achieved for four dwellings in a urban location. Providing valuable family housing need to accord with Haringeys council push for more family accommodation with gardens. The scheme delivers a sustainable and viable solution to a compact site.
